Dynasty Elite Dance Company is a dynamic and prestigious pre-professional dance team based at Neema Dance Collective in District Heights, Maryland. The company is renowned for its exceptional training and performance standards, focusing on elevating dancers' technique, performance quality, and confidence. Dynasty Elite provides a platform for young dancers (ages 4-18) to cultivate their artistry and technical skill under the guidance of CEO and Artistic Director Grace Johnson-Wright.

Ages 3–8
Audition: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Solo/Duo/Trio: 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Ages 9–11
Audition: 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Solo/Duo/Trio: 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Ages 12+
Audition: 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Solo/Duo/Trio: 6:30 PM – 7:00 PM
AUDITIONS & MEMBERSHIP
Dynasty Elite Dance Company holds annual auditions for dancers seeking to train at a pre-professional level.
We are seeking dedicated, disciplined, and passionate dancers who are committed to growth, performance excellence, and competitive training.
ELIGIBILITY

Dancers ages 3–18 are eligible to audition

All prospective members must have prior dance training

Dancers must be prepared to train in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
AUDITION PROCESS
Auditions are designed to evaluate technical ability, performance quality, and versatility across multiple dance styles.
Dancers will participate in a high-energy audition class including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, and additional styles.
AUDITION INFORMATION
Audition Date: Sunday, May 3rd
Location: 1761 Ritchie Station Court, Capitol Heights, MD
Auditions are divided by age group and include both group evaluation and optional solo, duo, and trio presentations.
PREPARATION

Dancers must wear all black dance attire (no logos)

Hair must be secured neatly away from the face

Dancers should bring all dance shoes, including sneakers

Dancers must arrive on time and fully prepared
PARENT EXPECTATIONS

A parent or guardian must be present for check-in and check-out.

A mandatory parent meeting will take place following the audition.
AUDITION FEE
$25.00 for new members
PROGRAM COMMITMENT
-
Attend mandatory Summer rehearsals, including Fridays and Saturdays
-
Participate in Summer Camp or Summer Intensive programs

Compete in competitions, conventions, and performances
-
Commit to a structured, pre-professional training schedule
-
Attend Fall and Spring technical training classes 3-4 days per week.
RESULTS
Audition results and next steps will be communicated via email within two weeks.
Score sheets are available upon request immediately following auditions.
