Dynasty Elite Dance Company is a pre-professional competing and performance team based out of Neema Dance Collective located in District Heights Maryland. Dynasty is dedicated to performing compelling dance pieces to various audiences. We focus on displaying and enhancing each member’s technique, performance quality, and confidence. Our dynamic and versatile team of creatives provide professional level choreography for company members to perform at various events to include live television.

 

Dynasty Elite dancers are master storytellers through movement. They have been awarded best in entertainment, choreography, and technical training at various dance competitions and showcases. The organization is recognized as an ADCC Studio of Excellence Award Winner and Circle of Excellence participant. Our members successfully matriculate to prestigious dance programs such as The AILEY School, Debbie Allen Dance Academy, Suitland High School for the Performing Arts, Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Baltimore School for the Arts, The Joffrey Ballet, and many others. Dynasty Elite takes pride in building a community of highly skilled dancers ages 5-18 within the walls of Neema Dance Collective, led by CEO and Artistic Director, Grace Johnson-Wright.

Company auditions are held annually in the in the spring and summer months. Each dancer is required to train throughout the season in Ballet/Pointe-Vaganova Method, Tap, Jazz, Horton Technique, Musical Theater, Lyrical, Turns & Leaps, Improvisation, Repertory, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, and Pilates dance techniques.

 

The competitive currriculum also includes artist building, performance enhancement, and athletic training classes in order to optimize the company’s performance quality and properly prepare and advance our pre-professional dancers to collegiate and professional dance companies.

All traveling members are required to attend Summer Intensives, dance competitions, conventions, and confrences including IABD both in and outside of the US. Neema Dance Concert and National Dance competitions are also required.
